Marketing Manager

BizNet is seeking a driven, strategic and organized individual to join our Marketing team as a Marketing Manager.  In this role as a Marketing Manager, you will work to execute marketing programs and deliverables that will drive awareness and sales of BizNet’s products.  You will work closely with the sales and executive teams to develop and execute marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will be someone with previous experience managing a team, planning and executing marketing strategies and is highly motivated and results-driven.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Strategy & Planning: work with management team to establish marketing strategies; create, manage and measure effectiveness of marketing campaigns; establish and implement corporate branding strategy; work with sales team to manage the creation of sales tools/aids including product literature, product positioning, competitive analysis, etc.; and work with the product launch team to manage the marketing and sales enablement items needed
  • Marketing Execution: manage the execution of inbound marketing strategies including: SEO, website, HubSpot, content and video creation, social media, etc.; manage the execution of outbound marketing strategies including: e-mail promotions, webinars, Trade Shows/User Conferences, PR, etc.; and manage the execution of customer marketing strategies including: educational webinars, Influitive promotions, customer case studies and surveys, and marketing campaigns for Excelapalooza (annual conference)
  • Management: create and manage annual marketing budget; establish, communicate and meet delivery deadlines; prioritize weekly deliverables; direct the hiring, training, daily activities and performance evaluation of staff; and grow, mentor and foster professional growth of staff
  • Analytics: establish marketing metrics for measuring return on investment; prepare weekly analytic reports on web, email marketing, paid search, social media, and other marketing initiatives; and provide marketing updates to the company and executive team weekly
  • Other: stay abreast of changes in the marketing environment; evaluate, select and maintain relationships with external vendors; and other projects as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in marketing
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in management
  • Able to plan and execute marketing strategies and exceed key performance indicators
  • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of HubSpot, a plus
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and project management skills
  • Highly creative with a commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work
  • Google Analytics and AdWords experience
  • CMS (WordPress), Basic HTML and CSS experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Able to adapt quickly and respond to changing business needs

Account Sales Representative

BizNet is seeking a driven, action oriented individual to join our Sales team as an Account Sales Representative.  In this role as an Account Sales Representative, you will become an expert in BizNet Software’s products and sales methodology; work to understand customer needs; and develop new business opportunities.  You will work directly with BizNet’s Partners to develop marketing campaigns and help close business.  A successful candidate will have strong communication and presentation skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and be able to balance high-level strategic goals with everyday challenges and trade-offs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Direct and Partner Sales: qualify leads; send quotes and close sales opportunities; meet sales forecast; and maintain a minimum sales quota
  • Travel: travel one week per month to assigned territory to conduct on-site visits with prospects, Partners, and customers; and attend User Groups regularly
  • Partner Management: work with BizNet’s top-tier Partners; ensure Partners have the latest tools, training, and information; help establish BizNet marketing events; and assist with direct sales
  • Marketing: attend Trade Shows/User Conferences; demo BizNet’s products; and follow up on sales inquiries and leads
  • Other: meet quarterly goals assigned by Sales Manager; and other projects as assigned

 

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years prior sales experience
  • Self-motivated and works well in a team environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong planning, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Skilled in providing superior level of customer service
  • Experience working in a software related industry, a plus
  • Prior exposure using Microsoft CRM, a plus
  • Able to adapt quickly and respond to changing business needs
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience
