BizNet is seeking a passionate, detail oriented individual to join our team as an Accountant I.  As an Accountant I, you will assist with various aspects of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Accounting, Order Fulfillment, and other projects as assigned.  You will work closely with the CFO to ensure company accounting standards and objectives are being met.  The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and an eagerness to learn and grow within the department.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Accounts Receivable: create invoices for software orders and support renewals; process deposits; update QuickBooks and CRM for payments received; assist with updating support and/or revenue recognition schedules; and create journal entries for royalty payments
  • Accounts Payable: review and validate AP; enter bills and royalty payments into QuickBooks; and calculate royalty commissions
  • Accounting: analyze accounts and prepare Form 1099s; prepare sales tax returns; create journal entries for GAAP adjustments; evaluate accounts to determine budget; and assist with external audit preparation
  • Order Fulfillment: process product orders; maintain customer portals (Flexera); and perform periodic analysis and review of CRM
  • Other: provide front-line customer support related to the Accounting Department; and other projects as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Skilled in providing superior level of customer service
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Technical Sales Product Specialist

BizNet is seeking a technical, customer-centric individual to join our Sales team as a Technical Sales Product Specialist.  In this role as a Technical Sales Product Specialist, you will serve as the first-tier technical resource for the Sales Department. You will be responsible for facilitating the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the Sales Department as a key technical advisor and product advocate for company products. The  Technical Sales Product Specialist must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users as well as be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction throughout all stages of the sales process. A successful candidate will be organized and analytical, have a knowledge of technology and be able to establish and maintain strong relationships through effective communication.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Marketing: serve as a product representative at Trade Shows/User Conferences
  • Sales: deliver product demonstrations, and respond to technical questions that arise from the sales process
  • Other: collect and convey customer feedback and requirements as needed; constantly develop knowledge as a subject matter expert on BizNet’s products; assist with educating Sales staff, and other projects as assigned

Required Skills:

  • 0-2 years relevant experience in sales or support role
  • Self-motivated and works well in a team environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong planning, organizational and presentation skills
  • Intermediate to Expert Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Skilled in providing superior level of customer service
  • Experience working in a software industry, a plus
  • Familiarity of BizNet products and line of business, a plus
  • Prior exposure using Microsoft CRM, a plus
  • Sales, business, or partner channel sales experience, a plus
  • Able to adapt quickly and respond to changing business needs
  • Bachelor’s degree in business/technology related field and/or equivalent work experience
