Account Sales Representative

BizNet is seeking a driven, action oriented individual to join our Sales team as an Account Sales Representative.  In this role as an Account Sales Representative, you will become an expert in BizNet Software’s products and sales methodology; work to understand customer needs; and develop new business opportunities.  You will work directly with BizNet’s Partners to develop marketing campaigns and help close business.  A successful candidate will have strong communication and presentation skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and be able to balance high-level strategic goals with everyday challenges and trade-offs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Direct and Partner Sales: qualify leads; send quotes and close sales opportunities; meet sales forecast; and maintain a minimum sales quota
  • Travel: travel one week per month to assigned territory to conduct on-site visits with prospects, Partners, and customers; and attend User Groups regularly
  • Partner Management: work with BizNet’s top-tier Partners; ensure Partners have the latest tools, training, and information; help establish BizNet marketing events; and assist with direct sales
  • Marketing: attend Trade Shows/User Conferences; demo BizNet’s products; and follow up on sales inquiries and leads
  • Other: meet quarterly goals assigned by Sales Manager; and other projects as assigned

 

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years prior sales experience
  • Self-motivated and works well in a team environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong planning, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Skilled in providing superior level of customer service
  • Experience working in a software related industry, a plus
  • Prior exposure using Microsoft CRM, a plus
  • Able to adapt quickly and respond to changing business needs
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience

Business Solutions Developer II

BizNet is seeking a highly technical, self-motivated individual to join our team as a Business Solutions Developer II.  As a Business Solutions Developer II, you will work to understand customer needs and industry trends; create data integrations to leading business systems; and ensure product quality and market readiness.  You will collaborate with Development, Sales, Support, and other internal departments to deliver world-class technologies.  A successful candidate will have 3+ years of industry experience, a deep knowledge of business reporting and processes, and hands-on experience working with SQL and VB.net.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Development/Reporting: become an expert in the use and development of BizNet’s reporting and analytics products; develop standard and custom reporting solutions for clients using SQL across multiple platforms; take business requirements and turn them into functioning technical solutions; optimize queries; and prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Testing: troubleshoot, diagnose, and architect solutions for reported product deficiencies; develop and execute reusable test plans; and participate in testing of new product functionality
  • Project Management/Documentation: define project tasks, estimate timelines, and perform scoping calls; complete projects on time and communicate project risks to project managers in a timely manner; and develop and maintain internal documentation, as needed
  • Other: recommend software enhancements based on systems analysis and client interaction; coordinate with Development and Support departments to resolve customer issues; mentor and work closely with other employees across multiple teams; and other projects as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Strong technical background with experience writing SQL scripts, reports, testing, and troubleshooting
  • 3+ years’ experience creating and writing SQL queries/database development
  • 3+ years’ experience with VB.net or similar programming languages
  • Experience with object oriented concepts, LINQ and other programming languages, a plus
  • Intermediate to expert Microsoft Excel skills
  • Clear understanding of business processes and ability to adapt and respond to changing business needs
  • Working knowledge of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices
  • Self-motivated and works well in a team environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly learn new business concepts is a must
  • Experience with ERP systems or data flow, strongly preferred
  • Intermediate experience with various reporting\business intelligence products, preferred
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL and SSRS, preferred
  • Experience with non-SQL Server databases, a plus
  • Familiarity with project management and time management, preferred
