Dallas, Texas - October 21, 2003 - BizNet Software Inc., which combines accounting and technology expertise to help companies improve financial reporting and processes, has been named a Rising Star on the Deloitte Technology 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America.

BizNet ranked number 13 in a special category, the Rising Star list, which ranks 25 winners that have been in business less than five years, but at least three years.  They are ranked based on average percentage of growth in revenues over three years (2000 to 2002).  During this period, BizNet enjoyed a revenue growth of 1,877 percent. 

In September, the company was named a Rising Star in Deloitte & Touche's Technology Fast 50 program for Texas.  In August, the company was honored for its outstanding one-year revenue percentage growth with a Dallas/Ft. Worth Fast 50 award at the Tech Titans/Fast 50 awards program.

Rising Star Qualifications
To qualify as a Fast 500 Rising Star, entrants must have had 2000 operating revenues of at least $50,000 USD and $75,000 CD for the United States and Canada, respectively; and 2002 operating revenues must be at least $1 million USD or CD.  Deloitte researchers examined financial statements to validate operating revenues.

Entrants must also be public or private companies headquartered in North America, and be a "technology company," defined as a company that owns proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology.  Using other companies' technology in a unique way does not qualify.  For more information on the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500 program, visit www.fast500.com.
